WEEK ONE

Master The Basics

Step 1: Get Connected + Social Media

Our team has many resources to help you build your business!

TEAM ZYIA PAPAYA FB GROUP: Our larger team FB group where you can ask questions, participate in team challenges , find training and more. 

ZYIA MARKETING + DESIGNS FB GROUP : A helpful FB group for sizing and outfit ideas. For sizing help, simply type what item you’re looking for sizing help with in the search bar.

@ZYIAFAMILY: Private Instagram for reps only where you'll find company announcements including restocks, new releases (Wednesdays), as well as sizing/fabric/fit info on those new releases! 

@ZYIAACTIVE: Public instagram account where corporate will share sneak peeks, product launches, giveaways and more. You can screenshot and share any images posted to this account for use on your personal social media platforms. 

* Reminder: ZYIA launches new products EVERY Wednesday at 10 AM PST for the US, 12:30 PM PST for CANADA and 3:30 PM PST for Australia. You can find this info in @zyiafamily stories as well as  an email 1 hour before the launch takes place. Note that weekly new releases can be found under the “New and Favorites” tab on your Zyia website.

Step 2: Back Office Basics

Once you’ve signed up, your website is active, meaning you’re ready to start selling!! 

There are 2 sides to your website–your BACK OFFICE where you will do most of your work,  and the CUSTOMER-FACING STORE where your customers shop!  

To find your back office, go to www.myzyia.com and login with the information given to you in  your welcome enrollment email (your rep ID and password: zyiaactive1). 

To find your customer facing website, go to www.myzyia.com/REPID# (or your new personalized name if you’ve already personalized your website).

PERSONALIZING YOUR WEBSITE

Once logged in, go to “Profile” > “Website Information” > “Personalize.” Here you can change some of the place holders and even add your name to your customer facing website address to make it yours. It’s that simple.

Step 3: Learn How To Order Product… The Smart Way

As a Zyia rep, we can order products in two ways that take advantage of the pay plan, rep discount and host rewards! 

The first way to take advantage of what’s offered to reps is to use your REP DISCOUNT which is 25% off full-price items. You will not make commissions on these orders. To use your discount, log in to your back office and click Place an Order > Personal Order. All items  placed under this tab will automatically have 25% taken off of them.

The “best way” is to place all your personal and customer orders through your own host shopping link on your website. Orders placed this way will not give you your 25% rep discount, but…they will get you 20-28% commissions and accumulate host rewards (FREE and 50%-off product based on party total). The video above walked you through creating your shopping link. Below is a video covering how to use your starter kit gift card.

Although there’s technically not a wrong way to order, ordering through your own party link will give you the most bang for your buck. So…we recommend that you always have a party shopping link open in which YOU are the hostess. You can place your own orders through this link and so can your customers.  Close your party when you’ve reached the party total that gives you the most host rewards, then create a new link to start the process all over again!

If you place orders outside of your shopping link for whatever reason. Good news! You can move them into any event in your back office under “Events.”

BENCHMARKS

And while you’re placing orders (your own or others), keep in mind that Zyia has 3 important monthly benchmarks you’ll want to keep in mind as you’re reaching for your QPV goals. Hitting any of these benchmarks by the end of the month will qualify you to receive the attached spiff for that month! 

200 QPV - Earn commissions  600 QPV - Free website 1000 QPV - 8% commissions bonus

Set Up

When it comes to using social media to sell Zyia, we advise you to stick with your current social media accounts and bring Zyia into it. While you can create new accounts, we have found it’s best to stay where people already like, know and trust you so you can build from there. 

If you’re choosing to start fresh and create new accounts, then try to choose a name that’s consistent across all social media platforms for easy recognition. Reminder…you’re not married to anything so don’t overthink it!  

Specifically, we recommend setting up your Instagram to a creator account. 

We also advise that in addition to your current FB account, create a FB group. This will be your online customer base community where you’ll host your launch party, share discounts, products and other things you love that make you YOU. 

Creating A Party/Shop Link

Before your launch it’s important to have a party/shop link up and ready to use. Any orders that come through this link will go towards you earning host rewards! We explain this in more detail below, but get your link set up so you’re ready to launch.

WEEK TWO

Pre Launch + Launch

Goals: Announce, invite to and host launch event. Sell 1500 PV

Step 4: Schedule Launch Event

Now that you’ve personalized your website, set up your social media accounts through which you’ll connect with your customers, know what’s available to you in our team resources, and have learned how to place orders “the smart way”...you are now ready to SCHEDULE YOUR LAUNCH EVENT and get your business started!! 

Your launch event is how you show everyone you’re open for business and introduce them to these incredible products and business opportunity. This event can either be an in-home event or an online event. We recommend doing both because the more exposure, the better! So, pick a date for your launch and put it on the calendar. In the meantime…read up on the outlines below to help you have the most successful launch party possible.

Change these up and make them your own! You can find a lot of graphics in the Zyia Marketing  FB group as well as Zyia Party Posts FB group to use as well.

Remember to make sure and create a host shopping link (in which you’re the host) BEFORE you launch so you can start earning host rewards!

Step 5: Announce + Invite to Event

Now that you’ve scheduled your launch party it’s time to announce your launch party date and invite the ones who love you to support your new business adventure! 

To announce your upcoming launch party…we recommend you do two things. 

First, create a social media post! Post a picture of yourself wearing the clothes. Talk about why you joined and what you’re excited about!! Give the deets on your launch party and ask them to comment below to join your big event.

Second, personally message (text, email, DM) your family and friends about your new activewear business and the details of your upcoming launch party. No matter what you share in your personal invitations, personally inviting is KEY. After all, you want them to connect with the face behind the pictures.  

Here are a couple example messages you can make your own:

Hey Karly! I just joined as a rep for an activewear company. I know you live in activewear and I know you will love this stuff!!! I am launching my business __________, and I am so excited! Can I add you to the group so I can show you all these cute clothes?
Lacy!!! I’m so excited! I just joined an activewear company and I am holding my business launch ___________!! Can I add you to the group to check out these clothes? You’re going to love them!!

Step 6: Host Launch Event

Your goal for your party is to sell 1500 PV!! This will ensure you have earned back your starter kit!
In general, if you cover these basics below then the party specifics (such as how many days to run it, what kind of party to do, etc) won’t matter much!

Here is a basic outline for your event:

Be Communicative

Send a welcome message to your party goers letting them know you're their personal shopper and can send recommendations or order things for them if they’d like. Include your party link so they can place order themselves if wanted,  how long the party will run, etc. It also helps A LOT to GO LIVE at  some point during your party to better connect with your party goers.

Provide Responsive Customer Service


Respond to every comment, send links, recommendations, tag party goers in products they would like and of course, send a ‘thank you’ message to everyone who places an order in your party. In other words, be there for your customers.

Create Posts

Engage with your party goers by posting throughout the duration of your party. Rather than post everything we have, post some of our best selling items or your personal faves. 

You can also use other kinds of engagement posts like voting for Outfits of the Day, or whether they like “louder” leggings, etc. Your customer’s answers to these engagement posts could also give you ideas on what item links to send them for personalized recommendations.

Send Reminders

As your party is wrapping up, be sure to send out reminders to your customers about the coming close of your party so they can place any last orders.

Week Three

Post Launch

GOALS: Close out launch, follow up with party goers, book 3-4 more parties, recruit 1 new rep.

Step 7: Close Event Redeem Host Rewards

Congratulations! You've officially launched your business! Remember, success is never instant.  It takes hard work and consistency behind the scenes, but if you're willing to do it, the reward  is HUGE! 

So here's what's next.  

CLOSE LAUNCH EVENT + REDEEM HOST REWARDS 

If you've hit the host reward goal and want to use the credits in your back office, go ahead and close your launch party link and redeem your host rewards. The only thing better than Zyia is FREE + DISCOUNTED Zyia. The video below will show you how to redeem your rewards.

Step 8: Turn Launch To VIP Community

Now that you have launched your business, and have a community started, you will simply  change the name from your ZYIA Launch Party to your community group name. You can also  update the cover photo to reflect that this is no longer a launch party and is now your ZYIA  community group. 

Moving forward, this is where you will share new releases, outfit reviews and pics, and anything  else you'd like to share to serve your community. You will also want to share this community in  all of your future parties and invite party members to join your community to stay up to date on  all things ZYIA!

START POSTING + CONNECTING IN THE GROUP

This is your group so SHARE YOU!!! You aren't just Zyia so this group shouldn't just be Zyia either. Adding other personal interests helps you connect with others on multiple levels. Show the products, but also serve your audience (post recipes, tips + tricks, workouts, life hacks, funny memes, etc.)

Step 9: The Follow-Up

The FOLLOW UP is EVERYTHING!  

One blessing of this business is the CONNECTION we get to have with customers after they  have purchased. Unlike retail stores, we get to call and check up on our customers to make  sure they're loving their products. We also have the opportunity to invite them to look at other ways they can connect with Zyia through hosting an event or joining the business, etc.

Your goal is to book 3-4 more parties from your launch!

We’ve included a tracker below to help you with this process.

Follow up with EVERY customer once they receive their order. When you do engage, remember to do the  following: 

- Offer every customer the HOST opportunity to earn FREE Zyia

- Invite every host + the ZYIA obsessed customers the REP opportunity

- FINALLY, ask every customer if they'd like to be added to you VIP FB page (previously your  business launch)

Week Four

Comp Plan + Best Practices

Congratulations on your launch!! This is such an important step in growing and building a strong and impactful business. As you are taking steps towards your growth it’s important to know what you are working towards. Below we have broken down the company compensation plan as well as best practices.

Compensation Plan Breakdown

Moon Shot Bonus

Senior Rep is a huge rank in our company and Zyia wants to reward you for reaching it…. quickly! Our Moon Shot Bonus is available to all new reps in the company!! When a rep reaches the rank of Senior Rep in their first 2 full commission periods (60-90 days from enrollment depending on enrollment date) they will receive a $250 USD bonus. They will also qualify for the Junior Rep + Senior Rep bonuses totaling an additional $125 USD bonus plus all regularly paid commissions.

Our goal is to help you earn back your investment ASAP and the Moon Shot bonus helps us do just that! Our BUILD section will walk you through your business activities and focuses for your first 90 days, with a goal of hitting Moon Shot bonus in that time.
